Can I publish forms as lightboxes on Joomla?

Yes, you can, but only if you use the downloaded version of Joomla for FTP. Before you paste the code onto your Joomla article, you need to make certain settings for your Joomla website, in order to allow the JavaScript code of our web forms to run. To enable these settings, just follow the steps below.

  1. Access the Site menu → Global ConfigurationText Filters and for Super Users make sure the No Filtering option is enabled.
  2. In the Extensions tab go to Plugin ManagerEditor TinyMCEBasic OptionsNew Lines: Br ElementsProhibited Elements. Make sure you remove Script and iFrame from that list.
  3. While still in Extensions, access Template ManagerTemplates and choose your active template. Click on its name to edit it.
  4. Next to $docaddStyleSheet, insert this line:
    https://www.123formbuilder.com/includes/tinybox/tinyboxstyle.css
    Make sure the line is added within the tags of the file.
    (Optional: if you don’t have $doc = JFactory::getDocument(); declared already, add it before $doc->addStyleSheet).
  5. Now go to the article you want to insert forms to. In Edit Article click on Source Code (or ToolsSource Code).
  6. In your 123FormBuilder dashboard, access the form editor, and go to Publish → Embed form → Lightbox. Choose the option you need (text link, image link, floating button, or auto popup), then copy the form code and paste it into the Joomla article source code box. Save the content and you’re done.

If you need more forms, go to the My Account section of your account and click the upgrade button. To create an unlimited number of forms, either upgrade to the Platinum service plan or higher. How can I publish my forms?
You can publish your forms in many ways, by using their direct URL or HTML link, embedding them with a JavaScript code, Inline HTML or iFrame, using the Facebook app or the WordPress plugin, using popups, the Blogger code snippet and many more. Once you have created and customized your form, go to the Publish section to complete your work. Read more in our documentation.
How do I change my form design?
You can change the design of your form for more information. in the Themes section, which is located in your form settings. We offer a set of more than 30 predefined form themes for your forms, but you can also create your own from scratch. You can customize the submit button, the logo and more. To apply your own stylesheets, all forms come with a custom CSS editor.
