October 1-2, 2014, Istanbul. Over 3,500 participants from 110 countries gathered on the shore of the Golden Horn, at Halic Congress Center, for the 6th edition of the famous Webit Global Congress taking place in various parts of the world since 2009. As a European business ourselves, we chose to take part in this year’s Istanbul congress that bridged EMEA and Asia, while bringing around the table tech and digital marketing leaders from PayPal, Venture Beat Insight, Livefyre, Spotify, Huffington Post and many more. Man, what an awesome lineup can Webit gather!
The two days of the congress have been a hectic time for everyone present, due to the rich conference agenda and fructuous networking sessions. We could gather insight on what makes a business worthy and how to tell its story right, all from the viewpoints of some of the world’s biggest brands. Formulated into 10-12 minute keynote talks, followed by a panel at the end of each session, the conference was amazingly lively. And it was an opportunity to enter that beautiful state of mind that ignites out-of-the-box ideas in everything we do here at 123FormBuilder.
This is why you should look for events in your own industry, and at your turn try to join at least one conference, congress or fair per year. It is a source of great ideas, new connections that can bring your business to the next level, and last but not least an exceptional mindset. All these are helpful for any stage or type of business you would be in. Take Webit for a start! We will surely keep an eye on the next editions.
Networking in beautiful Istanbul was another reason this year’s Webit was unique. We got the chance to shake hands with representatives of great startups, recognized nonprofits and educational platforms. This is to illustrate just how diverse and beautiful such a session could be.
While we would surely like to be strolling some more along the lanes of “the city of a hundred names”, the 123FormBuilder duo that attended Webit returned home with a spur of energy and creativity that will fuel the work of the team for long. See you at #Webit2015!
